A Word for God’s People: Living in Gratitude and Generosity

ree

November is a season for reflection, gratitude, and generosity. As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s natural to pause and consider how God has blessed us — and how we can share those blessings with others. In 1 Corinthians 16:1-4, Paul encourages the early church to give generously, reminding God’s people that their abundance is meant to be shared.

At Parkview Christian Church in Meridian, Idaho, we believe gratitude is more than a feeling; it’s a practice that shapes how we live. When we recognize God’s goodness, we are inspired to bless others, strengthening our community and spreading His love. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:8: “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

This November, take intentional steps to live out your faith. Perhaps it’s offering time or resources to someone in need, sending a note of encouragement, or simply expressing thanks to God in prayer. Each act of generosity reflects God’s love and reminds us that we are part of something larger than ourselves.

We invite you to join us Sundays at 10 AM at Parkview Christian Church for worship, Scripture, and fellowship. Experience a community dedicated to living out faith, gratitude, and generosity in Meridian and the Treasure Valley.
